I'm curious if the noise is as noticeable with live dialogue? If you recorded your dialogue and what we are hearing is that playing out of a speaker, then some of that noise and hum could be coming from your original recording mic and your speaker right? So would all of these examples have less noise in a real situation?

I am from Malaysia. I was considering a lot before getting a tablet (because this is my first tablet and I want it to be worth the value). I was considering iPad 10th gen 256GB storage and Samsung S9 FE with storage of 256GB. The price for the iPad is RM2.4k and samsung s9 FE is around RM1.8k. However the iPad doesn't come with a stylus pen, which I need to spend another RM500-RM600, which I can get samsung s9 FE+ which include with a stylus pen and the RAM is 12GB for 256GB storage. In the end, I chose Samsung tablet over iPad

This was really helpful for me as an apple user. My mom loves Samsung and I wanted to get her a tablet for her birthday. I was second guessing my choice, but this seems pretty close to the 10th gen iPad overall.

That the Samsung /Wacom Pen technology still works withouta battery is actually a huge bonus. I went already through three Apple Pencils because their battery doesn't last very long and their tip construction is fragile. 1-2 years and t they're often trash. I'm waiting for the S10 release and then much likely will switch over to the Samsung Tablet. The file system on iOS is super annoying and limiting and the wider aspect ratio of the Samsung makes it much more comfortable to use 2 apps side by side. For drawing I might still prefer the aspect ratio of the iPad, but for everything else the wider is more practical.

My main interest are Keynote, Microsoft 365 and SPSS so PLAIN m1 mac book pro, 8gb and 256 ssd fits my pocket in 2024, plugged to a humble 24' gaming msi monitor. for Us 633 in amazon is a steal. First ever apple computer for me. Lets see how it goes.

Would this be overkill if I was just using it for Piano apps? I was just looking for a tablet as a permanent place on my keyboard and don't really plan on using the cameras on the tablet. I already own a s24 ultra for a phone and use that to take all my pictures. Really was just looking for a tablet to watch streaming stuff and use for learning apps.

Just ask yourself what you have been using your old ipad for? If it's for gaming & multimedia, then get the Mini 6. If it's for multitasking and heavy tasks, then get the Air M1 or, even better, the Pro.

Hello there, I just want to share my experience and maybe motivate apple to fix. I have bought a new shiny 13 inch pro iPad just recently and I have been using it with as an external display for my M1 mac. (spec doesn't matter, just in case someone would think that the issue is related to old models only). After actively using it for weeks I have noticed that my eye is getting tired easier than before. Then I was looking onto the screens and noticed that simply the iPad as an external screen with sidecar is just not as sharp as my mac. My eyes just getting irritated watching my iPad in sidecar mode. Normal usage it has excellent sharpness. I still can't believe it.. (I installed "Display Menu" and tried to play with different resolutions but it is even worse.) This is very disappointing. I will write to apple. --- Tested an 11 inch iPad air with Macbook Air. It is fine. I believe sidecar does some scaling for the 13" which causing the issue. Reported to apple.
